The Rulletour is originally developet in Norwegian and the original rules were
Norwegian. This an English translation. In case of inconsistency, the Norwegian
interpretation and version shall prevail.
The Rulletour is organised on
an ideal basis and all work involved is volounteer work. Please be patient,
polite and supportive to the people who offer their time to organise the
tour.
(Rulle is Norwegian for trainer) §1 All stages
shall be cycled without any pauses. Results with discontinious Heart Rate (HR),
speed og power curves will be discarded. Once submitted, the results will be
checked as soon as possible, but it can not be guaranteed checked before the
closing of the stage §2 The following setting should be used for
your trainer and software - Weight should be set to body weigth + 8 kg
for bike and equipment. - Scale Factor shall be set at the default value
100 - Calibration factor shall be set to the default valuen
0.0 §3 Results must be uploaded within 12 hours after finishing
the ride in order to be valid. This is to ensure an open and lively competion
during each stage's opening time frame. Results will be marked with a
yellow question mark once uploaded. This indicates that is has not be trough the
validity check yet, but it is still used in the online standing. An
approved results will have a greeen ticker (v) mark. Discarded results
will dissappear from the result board, but will be visible on the personal
summary page, which you get to by clicking on a person's name (Note that you
or others may read and write comments to each others stages on this page once
logged in. Click on stage name to enter a comment or on comment icon to read a
comment. Adm. will try to comment on why results may not be approved) If
you submit a new results to a stage with better time, the better time will be
valid. If the better results i discarded, the previous result will re-appear in
the list with it's current approval status §4 There will be one overall
result list for Fortius trainer class and one for i-Magic trainer class. To
check the status in your age group or gender, please we the member list if your
closest rivals are your age ande gender. Unfortunately we are not able to divide
the results into more details at current. The overall standings are based upon
total time If you miss a stage, youi will get an auto results which is
slowest time on stage +20%. This means that during a stage, once someone has
submitted a result, all other participants with at least one result gets a
prliminary auto result, which is indicated by brackets in the stage
results. There will be a sprint point competition and an mountain point
competition as well. The mountain and sprint point will be given for fastes
rider within a subpart of the stage. Hence, not only the stage leader at that
point, but all riders may score points in all stages. Finish line
sprints: The time will be the time on the last km of the stage. The hilly
stages (number 2,3,6,78,9,11 and 12) scores 20-17-15-13-12-10-9-8-....1
points The flat stages (number 4 and 13) scores
35-30-26-24-22-20-19-18-17-.....-1 For the prologue-ish stages (1,5 and 10)
the whole stage time will be considered sprint time for points. These stages
will score 35-30-26-24-22-20-19-18-17-.....-1 points The intergiro
sprints will score 6-4-2-1 points Climbing points will be scored as
follows: HC: 20-18-16-14-12-10-8-7-6-5 1. kat: 15-13-11-9-8-7-6-5 2.
kat: 10-9-8-7-6-5 3. kat: 4-3-2-1 4. kat: 3-2-1 Refer stage
list for sprint distances and details §5 One may use a MTB, road or TT
bike according to own preferance §6 No prices but a wast amount of glory
is planned for. The competion is to be regarded as winter training
fun. §7 TT stages in VR may still use opponents. These stages will be
made with no wind to minimise draft effect. Slipstream on is allowed. The RLV
stages will not include draft effect by software nature. §8 Stearing
frame in not allowed used for the stages. §9 Participant name on www.rulletour.no website and rider profile
name in Tacx software to be as equal as possible to ease the adm. work. Nor
nicknames! §10 Time on stage entered on the website should be as given
in Tacx Analyser. Adm. group may adjust this to better accuracy as given in Tacx
Validator software.
